M6 Fuel Spill Cleansing

07/02/2017: West Midlands Fire Service received the 999 call at 6.51am on Tuesday (February 7) which reported fuel leaking from the lorry. Initially firefighters said 600 litres of fuel had spilled on the motorway which resulted in all four lanes being shut.  Highways England operations manager Neil Taylor said: “Thanks to the work of our hydroblaster at the scene we managed to clean up the carriageway and get it completely open to traffic by 1pm.
